Men say two three things in one breathe and confuse you like anything.

On the face of it, the cranes are to blame. But is it really about hydraulics and pulleys and weight age or something more finely ingrained in the brains of all dilliwalas policemen included? Big cars belong to big people who need not to be messed around with. And even if they aren't the cat's whiskers, a big car is a big car worthy of its owner being simply because he's 'made it'. The big car- small car social disparity is, of course mirrored across all other lines.

So in this great socialistic country of ours, to be rich is not only fun, but it's also protective. Why else do you think poor people want to be rich? Not only to buy goodies, but also to get away with the shortening lengthening arm of law. Beware future Nano owners. J

Call me whatever you want but it makes me wonder what it is about everybody slogging malls these days as they were the latest form of pestilence to strike out our wonderful town of Delhi n NCR.

Anyways last week authorities plan of closing malls in gurgaon for one day of week so that congestion and power shortages could be tackled. Now, malls are being pitched as the reason why traffic comes to a stand still and why gurgaon residents have to depend on their buildings' generator sets for power.

For me all this is tosh. Not only do I like entering these climate controlled special escalator zones of numerous shop front all under one roof. Anyone can enter a mall and spend time without buying anything, it's a cool hangout point and architectural splendor (it use to fascinate at a point of time).

From a climate controlled environment especially in summers. to branded exclusive outlets.

Somewhere down the line we like malls . say whatever folks but whenever a new mall is constructed we all visit (ok fine coz of kids or friends) just out of curiosity maybe yours or the person you are accompanying .. Is it any how different then rest JJJ

As we were trying to get the cheapest tickets on the cheapest budget airlines to go the farthest place from our work stations, there was Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav unveiling his fifth Railway budget in parliament. Now that we know Indian Railways have made a whopping RS 25,000 crore profits this year, Mr. Yadav will surely present his strategies before graduates at the Harvard Business School. We also got to know all trains and stations will very soon have 'green toilets' that will urge us to not only buy platform tickets but train tickets as well. But Mr. Yadav's enchant for being drop dead serious not only impressed us, but actually made us forego the cheapest ticket on the cheapest airline.

For among the many other things the minister said was that in two years, there will no longer be train tickets queues. That may bring grief to hundreds of thousands of Indians whose livelihoods as touts will be grievously threatened. But Indian Railways back office will indeed warm the cockles of the hearts of the rest of us. Mr. Yadav also made us sit up when he mentioned that he will make 'world class stations' of New Delhi railway station, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Station in Mumbai and Patna. Which is making me curious to visit railway station just to see the 'world class' settings and won't have to deal with arriving an hour ahead of flying and grapple with delays, cancellation and bad food. Hurrah!!!

Carpooling is an excellent tool to reduce fuel expenses while reducing traffic, pollution, carbon emissions if this does not sound interesting then take it as increasing social interaction among like minded people.

As per the newspaper organized carpooling concept has been in vogue in Indian cities for some years now, thanks to internet and mobile telephony.

But still in my point of view leaving the MNC offering cabs, carpooling is still to catch up, as it largely operated through informal, small network in office goers. If you did not have two or three people in your office living in same neighborhood, it's difficult to carpool.

But now one can find a carpool partner or partners using carpooling websites. If you are not online all the time, you can connect with other carpoolers using mobile phone.

This carpooling venture will turn out to be a great help in cutting pollution if people take it seriously. Let's hope it grow as expected.

Raj Thackeray's remarks have already led to several sporadic incidents of violence, perpetrated by his supporters against hapless Bihari and Uttar Pradesh migrants. This certainly does not bode well for Mumbai, the financial capital of the country, as insecurity among the smooth working of industry and commerce, not to say the galloping sensex. Migrants make up a large swathe of the working population especially in Mumbai, from low wages to taxi drivers and Bollywood stars.

The congress led state government cannot sit back and watch this political tamasha play out. Whenever migrants are the targets of persecution and terror, the government must not waste a moment to act or it could spiral out of control.

India only lady police officer whose name is enough to scare criminal off. Her achievements as a police officer have been invariably marred by controversy, whether her stint with Delhi police or during outstation postings.

As an IG Tihar jail, KB is known to overhaul the administration's outlook towards prisoners. She opened yoga and meditation centre, succeeded in opening centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University and National Open School and set up de-addiction centre.

Her services received international recognition when she was awarded the Ramon Magsaysay Award.

KB was embroiled in further controversy when she left her post as IG, Chandigarh, & came to Delhi after an argument with superiors.

Insubordination is perhaps the biggest reason why she wasn't made Delhi's top cop.

But for me she is one of the greatest personalities I admire.

And to achieve our dream any dreamer can put in their best.

Achieving one dream is not easy that why we dared to see it. We go through really hard way to achieve what we want, and the satisfaction we get is even more worth it.

We all have different dreams at different stages of life. My dreams are my life and got very small ones.they changes on daily basis.hey I am a dream queen. But love to be dreamer as it gives a goal to achieve ...... To do anything worth doing .... Maybe I can achieve it or not but still will try in put in my best effort to achieve them.

Two year back Delhi got rocked before Diwali .

Justice still has to be done..

When 29^th October came past month the whole newspaper was filled with the hardness of that day on people & their loved ones.

It was two days before Diwali that changed the happiness into sadness. All festive moods just simply changed overnight into a scary disaster that completely changed life's of people.

Fate got changed overnight...

But justice still has to be done. The government announced to help the victims & their families from blast.

Relatives of the dead and injured will get money and medical help from the government:

• "Rs 3 lakh will be given as ex-gratia to next of the kin of every dead person, while those seriously injured will get Rs 50, 000,"
• The injured will be given free treatment at any government hospital.

But nothing has been done so far. Least action is done to help the victim's family. Justice still has to be done to people & their relatives.

Now Diwali is coming again this year to light up our homes on 9^th November but those who lost their loved one's are still scared of Diwali as celebrations cost the lives of their loved ones.

Migration from other states has made Delhi over populated and an extremely polluted modern city. There is hardly any residential space left in the city that is not occupied by citizens and dwellers. Delhi's population has increased manifold in the past few years. If the stats are be believed, Delhi's population has grown over forty percent in the last ten years and the population now stands close to around fourteen million. This is despite the fact that sixty percent of Delhi-ites are born elsewhere.
